Generic Normodyne Tablet A Prescribed Drug for the Management of Hypertension Part 1
Introduction
Categorized under the group of drugs called beta-blockers, the Labetalol affects the heart and blood circulation (blood flow through arteries and
veins). This drug is available under prescription and is prescribed for patients suffering from high blood pressure. Containing adrenergic receptor
blocking agents that have both selective alpha1-adrenergic and nonselective beta-adrenergic receptor blocking actions in a single substance,
it is prescribed either alone or with other drugs. It is very much effective with thiazide and loop diuretics. Labetalol is indicated for oral
administration and comes in the form of tablets carrying the trade name of Generic Generic Normodyne. Each Labetalol tablet contains titanium
dioxide, talc, sodium benzoate, pregelatinized corn starch, magnesium stearate, lactose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and corn starch.
Drug Indications
Generic Generic Normodyne tablets are indicated for managing hypertension in patients. These tablets can be used with other antihypertensive agents, especially
thiazide and loop diuretics, or may be administered alone for treating high blood pressure.
Dosage & Administration
